Step 2: Sign In or Create an Account
To book your test, you’ll need to sign in or create a Pearson Vue account. This account will allow you to manage your test bookings and track your results.
Step 3: Choose Your Test Type
Ensure you select the correct test type based on the card you need:
• Health, Safety, and Environment Test (Operatives) – For those seeking a Green Labour Card.
• Health, Safety, and Environment Test (Specialist) – For Managers or Supervisors, or those seeking more advanced roles.
Step 4: Select Your Location and Date
Pick a test centre location that is convenient for you and choose your preferred test date.
Step 5: Pay the Fee
Complete your booking by paying the test fee. This can be done through the Pearson Vue platform.
Taking Your Test
You have two main options for taking your test:
1.At a Test Centre: Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time and bring valid ID with you.
2.At Home: Book your test through the NOCN website and take it on your laptop from home or at one of our training centres using one of our laptops.

Required for Key Construction Cards
Taking and passing the CITB HSE test is a requirement for obtaining the following construction cards:
•Green Labour Card: This card is for basic site operatives. To qualify for the Green Labour Card, you must also complete a Health and Safety Awareness course. Alternatively, to obtain a Blue CSCS Card, you’ll need to complete an NVQ in Construction Operations.
•Red NPORS Card: The Red NPORS Card is issued to those who have completed NPORS training. To gain the Red NPORS Card, you must pass the NPORS training and test.
•Blue CPCS Card: The Blue CPCS Card is for advanced, experienced operators. Operators transitioning from a Red CPCS Card will need to complete their NVQ to qualify for the Blue CPCS Card.
