Service Description

Course duration: Experienced worker test, please contact us if you require some preparation before the test. when booking this test please allow for 48 hours anything less will be chargeable as a late notification this course/ test can be done on-site Price +VAT +card fees + hire + travel [if going to site] group discount ✅ Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry, and their responsibilities as a plant operator 
 ✅ Have a working knowledge of the manufacturer’s handbook for the particular machine to be used 
 ✅ Be able to locate and identify the major components of the machine and explain their functions 
 ✅ Be able to locate and identify how to use the attached remote control 
 ✅ Conduct all pre-operational checks in accordance with manufacturer’s and legislative requirements 
 ✅ Identify and maintain PPE appropriate to the screener 
 ✅ Safely mount and dismount the screener 
 ✅ Start and stop the engine, belts, feeder, and screens safely 
 ✅ Configure the machine for travel and maneuver it safely across varying terrain 
 ✅ Conduct all necessary safety checks at the work area 
 ✅ Explain different types of screeners, their advantages and disadvantages of using, how they segregate the desired material 
 ✅ Communicate with loading operator establishing agreed signs, desired product size, and production speed 
 ✅ Carry out an emergency stop/safety precautions 
 ✅ Carry out screening tasks 
 ✅ Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of loading and unloading procedures for screener transportation 
 ✅ Environmental considerations 
 ✅ Carry out all end of shift and shut down procedures
