The NPORS S001 Safety Awareness course develops knowledge and practical awareness relevant to construction-site health and safety. It covers applicable hazards, responsibilities, risk assessment, safe procedures, communication, control measures and emergency or reporting arrangements.

• Explain Emergency procedures- First aid and Fire, Health Risks and welfare. Work at height, P.P.E.

• Explain the effects that noise, vibration and site transport have on individuals and the environment.
• Explain Excavations, Inspections, transport safety.
