Who Are NVQ Courses For?

NVQs are for people who are already doing the work. If you have been operating plant or working on the tools for years and have the ability but nothing on paper to show for it, this is the route that fixes that. You need to be competent in the role before you start.

The most common reason people come to us is the card. If you hold a red Trained Operator card, the NVQ is what takes you up to the blue Competent Operator card and its five years of validity. Others need a CSCS Skilled Worker or Competent Operator card for a particular site, and the NVQ is the qualification that unlocks it.

Assessment happens around your work, using observations, photographs, witness testimonies and your own work records. You stay on site, you stay earning, and we fit around you.
