Overview
A work-based NVQ for site managers responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering residential-development projects.

Who this NVQ is for
Experienced residential site managers who control people, resources, programme, quality, safety and handover.

Learning outcomes
On completion, candidates will be able to:
• Build effective working relationships and allocate and monitor the work of project teams.
• Establish and maintain health, safety, welfare, wellbeing and environmental systems.
• Evaluate construction methods and plan site preparation and residential work activities.
• Coordinate resources, contractors, inspections and interfaces across the development.
• Monitor programme, cost, quality, dimensional accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Manage completion, customer-facing handover information and project records.

Workplace competence assessment and portfolio of evidence, using methods such as assessor observation, professional discussion, questioning, work products and suitable witness testimony. Internally assessed and quality assured by the centre, with external quality assurance by ProQual.
