• Identify the major components of the machine and explain their functions.
• Conduct all pre-operational and running checks in accordance with manufacturer instructions and legal requirements.
• Manoeuvre the machine to the work area and correctly configure in readiness to carry out sweeping tasks.
• Carry out sweeper tasks safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding tipping procedures, diverse waste, types of hazardous and toxic waste and waste landfill codes.
• Complete safe shutdown, parking and securing procedures.
